Engineering Intern

Process Engineer Intern will support the Operations in tracking theflow of the material through the Huntsville Performance Center.

Job Summary

Support Operations on daily tasks, including:
  • Mapping workflow of products
  • Establishing daily status of Work In Progress (WIP)
  • Communicate status of product cross functionally to include Operations, Program Management, Test,
  • Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain
  • Creation of Excel tools to support the communication of WIP
  • Improve productivity by performing ergonomic evaluations, time studies, and line balancing as requested.
  • Assist in other tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidates must be a junior or senior in an engineering program
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment and across functional groups
  • Ability to compose routine reports and correspondence
  • Multi task, good decision making, self-motivated, and problem solve
  • Must be computer literate, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of engineering principles required
  • Must be a US Person
Required Experience and Education
  • Recent graduate or currently enrolled working toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Team oriented willingnessto learn.
