AZ Gems is a vertically integrated frozen seafood supplier with global

sourcing and U.S. distribution, focused on shrimp and frozen seafood.

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to lead and expand

our business with Walmart, with a focus on the frozen seafood

category. This Bentonville-based role will own the strategic and

day-to-day management of both accounts, drive category growth, and

leverage deep retailer expertise to deliver best-in-class execution

and insights.

Key Responsibilities

-Own the end-to-end relationship with Walmart, serving as the senior

point of contact for all account-related activities

-Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sustainable

revenue growth within frozen food and seafood categories

-Partner closely with Walmart buyers, category managers, and

replenishment teams on a daily basis

-Lead joint business planning (JBP) and deliver compelling, data-driven

business reviews

-Analyze POS, inventory, and shopper data (e.g., Retail Link,

Scintilla) to generate actionable insights and identify growth

opportunities

-Optimize assortment, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies

specific to frozen categories

-Monitor inventory levels, forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, and

OTIF metrics to proactively address supply risks.

-Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, R&D, and

finance teams to ensure execution excellence

-Drive new item launches, seasonal programs, and innovation pipelines

aligned with category trends

-Monitor KPIs including sales, margins, fill rates, inventory turns,

and forecast accuracy

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related

field (MBA preferred)

-5–10+ years of experience managing Walmart and/or Sam's Club accounts

-Direct experience in frozen foods, seafood, or perishable categories

is preferred.

-Deep expertise in Walmart systems and processes (Retail Link,

Scintilla, item setup, replenishment, OTIF)

-Working knowledge of Walmart systems, scorecards, replenishment

processes, and category management principles.

-Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding distribution

within Walmart/Sam's

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into

clear business recommendations

-Established relationships within Walmart and/or Sam's Club buying

teams (preferred)

-Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with frozen supply chain dynamics (cold chain logistics,

shelf-life management, demand variability)

-Familiarity with syndicated data tools such as NielsenIQ or IRI/Circana

-Experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring junior account managers
