A company is looking for a Fiber Monitoring Engineer to design and manage fiber paths for fiber-based services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigns routes for fiber-based services including Point to Point, Ring, and path diverse routingResearches existing databases for network design and fiber optimizationMaintains the fiber plant database and inventory management system to ensure accuracyRequired QualificationsFour-year college degree in Engineering or equivalent Telecom Network experience requiredMinimum of three years of fiber design experience, including ring configurations and FTT projectsProficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Visio and Excel; Salesforce knowledge is a plusPrior experience in telecom and fiber plant installation is necessaryKnowledge of GIS-based platforms and fiber inventory systems, with GE Smallworld experience preferred
