A company is looking for a Regulatory and Harvest Management Support Scientist.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical analysis and scientific writing services related to fishery and hatchery management frameworksComplete ESA effects evaluation and NEPA documents for fishery and hatchery management plansCoordinate with NMFS staff and project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experienceKnowledge of laws related to fishing industry management, including the Magnuson-Stevens Act and the Endangered Species ActExperience in preparing NEPA analytical documents such as Categorical Exclusions and Environmental AssessmentsExperience conducting technical analyses for anadromous salmonids, particularly regarding hatchery and harvest managementTechnical writing experience in completing analyses and reports on Pacific Northwest salmon and their habitats
