A company is looking for a Medical Records Coder II-Inpatient.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and accurately code complex medical records using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and/or CPT coding conventionsCoordinate and review the work of designated employees, ensuring quality and quantity of work through regular auditsConsult with and educate physicians on coding practices, and maintain a thorough understanding of medical record practices and standardsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma requiredMust hold one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or HCS-DCCS certification requires one year of coding experienceCPC or HCS-D certification requires two years of coding experienceNo experience is required for RHIA or RHIT certifications
