Service Technician

Pay: $23.40-$34.40 per hour

1st Shift Hours including on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekends

Essential Functions:

1. Installs basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assists in more advanced installs as needed.
2. Maintain, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers on contract and/or on time and material (i.e., T&M) basis.
3. Completes and documents preventative maintenance on basic mechanical commercial food equipment.
4. Implements and supports standard operating procedures outlined in Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.
5. Supports branch and organization financial objectives by providing a quality customer experience.
6. Maintains current organization, industry, and equipment knowledge.
7. Responsible for assigned company assets including vehicles, tools, and inventory.
8. Follows the company's safe driving and other applicable policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of electrical/mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• A Safety, quality, and continuous improvement mindset.
