Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Contract strategy development for new, existing and expiring agreements for med/surg, indirect spend and Captis contracts.
  • Analyze Member's spend (including member & local contracts); perform market share analysis and interpretation while also leveraging solutions such as the Catalog and other member provided analytic tools.
  • Identify conversion opportunities and assist with implementation i.e., Value Analysis, supplier negotiations, etc.
  • Facilitate meetings with internal stakeholders, Value Analysis teams, and suppliers.
  • Identify savings opportunities by examining total cost and value including, rebates, incentives, administrative fees and other value add services, products and offerings.
  • Ensure Member is utilizing the correct tier, and paying the correct price based on contract tier eligibility.
  • Review pricing across the health system to identify price parity opportunities.
  • Present findings to Member's contracting supply chain stakeholder to validate recommendations.
  • End to end contract support to include: detailed cost analysis, savings/increase documentation, contract negotiations and document review to final sign off and implementation. (Document review does not replace Members legal review.)
  • Provide contract training and educational support for the current sourcing team.
  • Produce monthly project status updates to Member project sponsor and project lead.
