Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminology to start in august 2026. This is a standard nine-month faculty appointment with a competitive startup package. The successful cndidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the Public Policy Ph.D. and Data Science / Analytics B.A. programs.
At minimum, the person hired must have: (1) A Ph.D. in Sociology, Criminology, Criminal Justice or a closely related social science discipline, (2) evidence of the ability to contribute to the departmental programmaticneeds in criminology, (3) evidence of an active research agenda and scholarly productivity in criminology, (4) demonstrated potential of developing an externally funded program of research, and (5) evidence of the ability to contribute to the teaching and mentoring missions of the department.
