As a Glass Coating Specialist, you'll be responsible for applying high-performance coatings to large glass panels using a backpack-mounted spray applicator. You'll need to maintain a steady, even coating over large surfaces and perform pre- and post-coating inspections to ensure quality standards are met. This role also involves mixing and handling coating materials, setting up and cleaning equipment, and following all company safety protocols.

This is a field-based role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors or in varying weather conditions. The Glass Coating Specialist will work closely with team leads and field supervisors and should be comfortable with both independent work and collaborative troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply proprietary coatings to glass using spray equipment
• Conduct surface inspections before and after coating
• Mix and handle coating materials safely and accurately
• Set up, clean, and maintain spray equipment
• Document daily work and materials used
• Assist with transporting and staging glass
• Follow strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE
• Troubleshoot and report equipment or coating issues in the field

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in coatings, construction, or manufacturing preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
• Comfortable wearing a backpack system (15-20 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and work consistency
• Willing to wear a respirator (requires little or no facial hair)
• Forklift experience may be preferred or required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• U.S. Citizen or valid U.S. visa

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for 6-8 hours daily
• Frequent lifting, grasping, and carrying of materials
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in changing weather
• Must wear PPE, including steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and more
