Description:

SUMMARY:

This position is directly responsible for managing the sales positioning and value-added product development of Fresh Meats Beef trim and processor products. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating sales efforts within the Tyson sales network of national and international service centers, internal plant operations, and external customers to maximize overall product value for the Fresh Meats Group.
  • Daily interaction with Plant Operations, Scheduling, Logistics, Claims, Credit, and other internal support groups, along with an established external customer base.
  • Maximizing sales realizations, managing optimal inventory positions, developing value-added products, fostering new customer development, and providing exemplary customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 plus years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Experience in meat or similar commodity sales and/or protein supply chain management preferred.
  • Computer Skills:
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Special Skills:
  • Creative problem-solving skills are a plus.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Goal-oriented with an overall positive and productive approach.
  • Team player and results-driven.

This position plays a crucial role in driving sales, optimizing inventory management, developing new products, and maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize the value of Fresh Meats Beef trim and processor products.
