Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $137,280.00/yr - $198,293.00/yrEmployment Type: Full-Time, ExperiencedDepartment: Information TechnologyCGS is seeking a Tableau Developer to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency.As a Tableau Developer for CGS, you will provide data visualization capabilities for the office of research by creating interactive reports, visualizations, and dashboards to support priority agency needs. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and evaluate user requirements, develop interactive visualizations using Tableau, and provide expert technical assistance on visualization development.Skills and attributes for success:Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to design and build visualizationsAbility to generate and evaluate user requirements, identify data sources, and build data extractsAbility to create reports and data analytics solutionsAbility to develop test plans and test visualizations to ensure reports, dashboards, and queries perform efficientlyAbility to provide technical assistance to agency staff on Tableau usageAbility to adhere to agency data visualization policies, including training, testing, and approvalsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field5+ years of experience in building, customizing, and publishing Tableau interactive reports, visualizations, and dashboardsIntermediate knowledge of SQL; understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices5+ years of experience communicating complex analytical topics to technical and non-technical audiencesProficiency in managing complex data from multiple sources and understanding new datasets and data structuresOur Commitment:Contact Government Services (CGS) aims to simplify and improve government processes through innovative use of technology and dedicated personnel.
