Position Summary...

Influential Communication: Possesses knowledge of verbal/nonverbal behaviors, application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations, situational awareness, communication channels/mediums, interpersonal skills, and universal relationship building. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading discussions with varying viewpoints.
  2. Presenting to and influencing audiences across divisions using appropriate frameworks/tools.
  3. Leveraging fact-based data and analytics insights to build cohesive narratives, form arguments, organize thoughts, and present clearly and concisely.
  4. Demonstrating decision and coordination skills in conflicting or ambiguous situations.

Market and Customer Analysis

Knowledge of data gathering and reporting tools, market data sources, customer behavior analysis methodologies. Responsibilities include designing targeted engagement processes, interpreting risks and opportunities using predictive modeling, monitoring market trends, developing tools for market research validation, and integrating analytics with other applications.

Category Strategy Management

Knowledge of eCommerce retail environments, merchandising strategies, and business plan development. Responsibilities include identifying and recommending business models, developing contingency plans, driving process changes, reducing risks, owning strategy execution, and devising site strategies aligned with business needs.

Partnerships

Knowledge of communication channels, team dynamics, organizational practices. Responsibilities include building strategic alliances, leveraging support to drive programs, fostering collaboration, and providing insights on cross-functional impacts.

Product Management and Innovation

Knowledge of product discovery, roadmap design, and prioritization. Responsibilities include owning complex product requirements, creating new ideas, developing roadmaps, promoting insights from data analytics, and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Site Experience

Knowledge of site navigation, standards, visual merchandising, tools, and systems. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end site experience, setting navigation strategies, and improving site standards based on data and trends.

Campaigns and Launches

Knowledge of campaign management tools, promotional methods, and launch processes. Responsibilities include researching best practices, developing organizational capabilities, guiding partnerships, and establishing management guidelines.

Site Structure Management

Knowledge of SEO, site structure, taxonomy, analytics tools. Responsibilities include interpreting research, strategizing site design, and developing standards for optimization.

Reporting and Insights

Knowledge of database and visualization tools. Responsibilities include data integration, reporting, storytelling, developing new capabilities, and creating graphical data representations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in relevant areas. 3 years of supervisory experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in relevant fields is preferred. Experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, visual design, and business management is advantageous.
