Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager responsible for developing account strategies and relationships with district and local accounts, supporting national account sales management. Key duties include driving sales and profit, building customer loyalty, and communicating sales strategies to leadership. The role involves managing account and district-specific goals, fostering growth, and supporting pull-through sales for national accounts and equipment packages.

Territory

The territory includes Southern Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Northeast Texas. The ideal candidate resides within this region due to extensive travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  1. Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with diverse accounts, from local growers to major U.S. production companies.
  2. Achieve revenue growth within assigned accounts and adapt strategies to evolving markets.
  3. Develop and implement account management strategies tailored to the commercial environment.
  4. Establish and monitor account and district objectives using KPIs.
  5. Promote sales for national accounts and equipment packages.
  6. Collaborate with clients to optimize system and tool utilization, such as QC CRM/Pro Portal.
  7. Communicate sales updates and strategies effectively to leadership.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Communications, or related field preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in the agricultural industry is a plus.
  3. Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
  5. Experience in protein production or related fields is advantageous.
  6. Proven success in business development and sales.
  7. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  8. Ability to prioritize, analyze data, and think strategically.
  9. Reside within 2 hours of the assigned territory preferred.
  10. Some overnight travel required.
