Were looking for a Video Editor to join the Creative Production Team at Sams Club. This role is ideal for a creative who lives at the intersection of motion graphics and video editing, with strong design sensibilities and a drive to create meaningful, high-impact content at speed. As a core part of a lean and agile team, youll work on fast-turn projects spanning internal communications, social media, digital signage, executive messaging, and more. Youll bring visuals to life through animation, editing, and a sharp eye for compositionand contribute to the teams broader creative impact through close collaboration with copywriters, designers, and leadership. This is a hands-on role for someone who can own post-production from rough cut to final polish, but also jump in to support on-set production when needed.What you'll do...
Motion Graphics & Video Editing
- Creating polished video edits and animated content for screens, social, and internal channels
- Animating 2D graphics and text in engaging, on-brand ways
- Bringing motion graphics to life with a strong sense of timing, design, and storytelling
- Confidently owning post-production from rough cut to final delivery, across a range of formats (e.g., social, signage, internal comms)
Creative Problem-Solving
- Supporting quick-turn creative requests with speed and precision
- Creating compelling motion graphics and video content at speedoften with limited resources
- Being a creative problem solver who can turn ideas into motion with little direction
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborating closely with designers and copywriters to ensure message and visuals align
- Supporting team shoots and production efforts with on-set assistance (camera, lighting, audio)
- Editing footage and prepping supplied assets for final use
Technical Precision & Workflow Management
- Managing file organization, exporting, versioning, and creative review cycles efficiently
- Handling post-production tasks including animation, editing, color grading, and audio editing
- Delivering final videos ready for public or internal distribution across multiple channels
- Handling quick-turn requests with accuracy and attention to detail
Youll sweep us off our feet if you:
- Have expert-level experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and familiar with the rest of the Adobe suite including audio, video, and design tools
- Have strong skills in design, layout, and composition
- Are a creative problem solver who can turn ideas into motion with little direction
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects
- Have 3-4+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics (agency, brand, or freelance)
- Are collaborative, curious, self-starting, and team-oriented
- Have a professional reel showcasing your work and contributions
