We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Sales Intern.

This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail sales, market analysis, and business development. As an intern, you will assist with key sales functions, including competitive research, consumer insights, merchandising strategies, and sales presentations. Working closely with our Walmart & Sam's Club sales team, you will develop essential analytical skills and contribute to initiatives that drive category growth and retail success. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

    Assist with special projects across multiple sales functions, including but not limited to:

    Market & Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct research on Walmart and Sam's Club's current assortment within the assigned product categories.
    • Identify and document key brands, price points, materials, and product features to assess market positioning.
    • Analyze private-label offerings and exclusive brand partnerships to understand competitive dynamics.
    • Evaluate in-store merchandising strategies and digital shelf presence on Walmart.com and SamsClub.com.

    Consumer Insights & Trend Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze consumer reviews to identify purchasing trends, key drivers, and common pain points.
    • Research industry trends and emerging product innovations to identify white space opportunities.
    • Assist in compiling consumer insights to support product development and marketing strategies.

    Sales Strategy & Business Development:
    • Help create data-driven sales presentations tailored to Walmart and Sam's Club buyers.
    • Compile key insights, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis to support sales discussions.
    • Assist in developing promotional and marketing strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sell-through.

    Sales Presentation Development:
    • Assist with the uploading of relevant employee documents onto platform once capabilities are available in UKG Pro.
    • Assist with building out necessary reports and sharing with team.
    • Develop a plan and update necessary DL in outlook for the HRBP group to utilize.

Other:
  • Support the sales team with ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and special projects.
  • Assist in tracking key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role shall have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Interest in retail, consumer products, and sales strategy.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
